Thanks to its decades of experience, the level of precision, flexibility and punctuality in its production operations, SIME S.r.l. has become leading enterprise in the precision CNC machining sector, specialised in milling of bespoke mechanical parts designed and produced according to the customer’s technical specifications.
SIME S.R.L. was founded in 1962 and boasts a long tradition of mechanical craftsmanship in the milling of bespoke mechanical parts as an outsourced service; its many years of experience is successfully affiliated to its current technological and innovative presence.

Over the years, SIME S.R.L. has developed an outstanding dynamic and flexible structure, which pays utmost attention to customer demands and is oriented towards the search for state-of-the-art tools and equipment in order to optimise the quality-price ratio. Guaranteeing quality is crucial to us, so all our production activities are monitored by methodical and timely dimensional checks.
Machinery fleet
From your design to delivery
To deliver excellent quality products, we need excellent machinery both to produce them and to guarantee the repeatability of the series over time. All our machines are DMG Mori SH and NH-DCG series for sturdiness, precision and operating speed and since 2021 they are also Green Machines to respect the value of the environment.

We check product conformity in the metrology lab with a 3-D Mitutoyo machine. We degrease the parts with a modified alcohol-base metal washer unit, with automatic drawer loading system, and continuous and interconnected distillation filtration. We always use state-of-the-art tools with hot-shrink fitted spindles to eliminate vibrations and achieve maximum performance and durability results. We design and build in-house the part gripping equipment dedicated to individual items to position multiple parts simultaneously, reducing lead times and optimising machining phases. We design multi-profile tools in-house and commission the top collaborators to produce them. We also manage post-processing treatments.

Drafting of quotations
A customised order is drafted for the customer according to the applicable specifications
Order entry
The customer order shall be entered with a unique traceability code
Planning
Production is then planned with machine load development, CNC programs, and equipment
Start of production
Production starts with a check for compliance with lead times
External processing management
Any external processing is managed with certified suppliers
Final inspections
Final inspections are carried out on the product prior to delivery

Eco-sustainabilitySime for the environment
For over twenty years, the health of our employees and the environment in which we live have been aspects we deeply cherish. We select our suppliers based on the complete sharing of these values to guarantee an excellent supply chain, from raw materials to recycling.
Starting in 1990, we decided to invest in cooling lubricants that are compatible with human and environmental requirements, hence already free from bactericides and boron, and made from mineral substances. Thanks to our continuous research and innovation activities, nowadays these products are even more sustainable and respectful of human health and the environment.
In 1992, when the complete refurbishment of the production plant started, we selected the machinery suppliers that matched product quality and process performance, with energy and earth savings. These are now called Green Machines because they are primarily focused on these issues along with resource efficiency, reduction of waste and emissions, manufacturing process optimisation, and sustainable innovation. Our latest Green Machine arrived in 2023.
We have always carefully considered the introduction of new production processes , focusing our attention to the environmental impact and the well-being of people. In 2024, when the washing plant was replaced, we selected it according to the factors below:
- waste material recovery – 100% of the metal swarf – 99% of the emulsifying oils that are part of the production cycle
- use of low environmental impact liquids thanks to the continuous distillation and filtration
- use of modified alcohol to reduce washing times and generate considerable energy savings
- use of state-of-the-art technology that dramatically reduces routine maintenance and therefore improves worker protection.
Today, our production waste is 80% recyclable, and the portion sent to the disposal collection point, is constantly monitored to embrace containment and a progressive decrease in the amount. Our employees are constantly aware of and invited to adhere to the waste sorting and disposal requirements, in accordance with local waste disposal regulations; they are also very much aware of the importance that is given to environmental value.
